We are a family run, outdoor adventure activity provider, primarily operating in Snowdonia and on Anglesey, North Wales. We offer exciting trips for all abilities and age groups at competitive prices, to try to make activities available for everyone.
Adventure Activities Wales was started in 2021 by Sol, Laura and friends, out of a desire to offer new adventures, which have not openly been offered before. As passionate adventurers ourselves, we've been busy exploring all the interesting spots we can think of, to find you the best and most exciting ways to access the outdoors. Whether you're after a nice family friendly activity, or an adrenaline pumping experience we've got something you will enjoy.
Founders
Sol Armer
Sol has dedicated his life to outdoor sports. Lucky enough to have lived most of his life in/on the borders of the Lake District or Snowdonia and Anglesey, he spends most of his time outdoors, practicing a number of different sports. He’s very passionate about growing outdoor sports and training/introducing new people into them, and has recently scouted and developed a number of venues.
Sol is an active member of the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team. He holds a number of qualifications including: Mountain Leader, Rock Climbing Instructor, NCC Coasteering Guide, Vertical Mine Leader (SRT & Tyrolean), Level 3 Canoe and Kayak Coach, Sea Kayak Leader, White Water Safety and Rescue, Mountain Rescue Casualty Care. Whilst there are currently no widely recognised qualifications for Canyoning in the UK, Sol uses his rock and water qualifications, as well as an extensive amount of experience, to run these activities.
Laura Pruul
Laura is our genius behind the website, primary test guinea pig for new adventures and our communications guru. Born in Estonia, she moved to Wales in 2012 for university, where she became obsessed with climbing and highlining. She's also become a keen mountain biker and canyoneer, and will jump into any sport head first.
