About Us

We are a family run, outdoor adventure activity provider, primarily operating in Snowdonia and on Anglesey, North Wales. We offer exciting trips for all abilities and age groups at competitive prices, to try to make activities available for everyone.

Adventure Activities Wales was started in 2021 by Sol, Laura and friends, out of a desire to offer new adventures, which have not openly been offered before. As passionate adventurers ourselves, we've been busy exploring all the interesting spots we can think of, to find you the best and most exciting ways to access the outdoors. Whether you're after a nice family friendly activity, or an adrenaline pumping experience we've got something you will enjoy.

Sol Armer

Lucky enough to have lived most of his life in/on the borders of the Lake District or Snowdonia and Anglesey, Sol spends most of his time outdoors, practicing a number of different sports.

When he’s not found exploring all the hidden gems the UK has to offer, you’ll find him overseas on an international adventure, exploring the remote canyons, cliffs and seas around the world. As a passionate outdoor sports enthusiast, Sol loves introducing new people into the outdoors, and finds it very rewarding training/ teaching people to have the skills to get out personally and work professionally.

Sol is an active member of the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team and holds lots of qualifications including:

Laura Pruul

Laura is our genius behind the website, primary test guinea pig for new adventures. Born in Estonia, she moved to Wales in 2012 for university, completing a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science. Whilst at university Laura became obsessed with climbing and highlining. She's also become a keen mountain biker, canyoneer, the occasional kayaker and will jump into any sport head first.

Outdoor sports have taken Laura across the world having highlined, climbed on sea stacks, town buildings and mountain cliffs in some spectacular locations. Her personal best is crossing 300m long highline in the mountains in Turkey and climbing up and highlining across the Old Man of Stoer in Scottish Highlands.

Some of her other big adventures include completing the Cullin ridge traverse on Skye in 24 hours, mountain biking the British Big 3 (Snowdon/ Yr Wyddfa, Helvellyn, Ben Lomond) and canyoning, climbing in the Italian Dolomites and the Swiss & Austrian Alps.

Recently her love of adventure has also brought a new challenge to her life; bringing up her two children and starting to introduce them to the wonders of the world.
